Skills Active Aotearoa is a not-for-profit limited liability company, and our group includes our subsidiary company, Te Mahi Ako, an independent tertiary education organisation specialising in work-based learning. Our group chief executive officer reports to the Skills Active board elected by our shareholders and the Te Mahi Ako Subsidiary Board. The shareholders in Skills Active are approximately 25 industry umbrella bodies, and 50 percent of our shareholding is held by Māori organisations.
