The Volunteer Development Scholarship recognises and celebrates the achievements of volunteers who give their time to support the community and help shape the sport and recreation industry.
This scholarship celebrates the achievements of volunteers who give their time to support the community and help shape sport and recreation in New Zealand.
The scholarship is open to volunteers who are past or present Skills Active trainees or assessors, and to workplaces engaged with Skills Active who support a volunteer workforce.
The winner receives a $500 grant towards future Skills Active enrolments to support learning and development for themselves or their team/club/organisation.
If you would like to nominate someone for this scholarship, please email us by 29 October.
Nominations should include a paragraph about the candidate and any relevant background, how they meet the eligibility criteria, and why they should be considered for the scholarship.
